Write the Vision, Make it Plain

A few days before the new year, I welcomed eight women to my home for a Vision Board Party. We had a grand time, as we channeled our inner creative being. Crafts, stickers, magazines, glue sticks, scissors, and posterboards occupied our spaces. And as we cheerfully celebrated with food & wine, we created boards that exhibited a future we envisioned. For many years, I have envisioned myself being in a body-building competition. I've always had a competitive nature, and I know that I can do hard things. So, why not?

For the year 2023, I've finally made up my mind that it's time to do the hard work. And I'm on my way. I began this journey by signing up for a program called Eager 2 Motivate (E2M). If you haven't heard of it, then Google it. Also, check out reviews on YouTube and visit the social media pages on Instagram and Facebook. But what I'm trying to accomplish is discipline!! More specifically, food discipline. E2M is definitely helping me get closer to my goal.

On my vision board, there is a very specific goal to lose 45 lbs. Although I have a long way to go, I am super excited and proud of my 8 weeks progress report (seen below). To help me stay focused and on track, I created a workout journal to record my workouts and meals. You may download the Weekly Motivational Workout Journal, which includes daily affirmations that will inspire you to be healthy.

Welp, this is only the beginning. I've got to keep pushing. Wish me luck!
